Full Mouth Restoration

As close as it gets to natural teeth

beeston dental practice & implant clinic in Nottingham

Full mouth restoration can really change your life if you have only a few teeth or no teeth at all. Our expertise in dental implants with complete, fixed bridges in Nottingham means you can regain your smile and look years younger. Ideal for restoring lost volume to your face and strengthening your jawbone in the longer term, full mouth restoration could be your perfect solution.

  • Dental implants act like a natural tooth root, giving you confidence and restoring your quality of life.
  • Dental implants are accepted by your body as they are made of biocompatible materials.
  • Maintain natural bone and minimise further bone loss.
  • Your dental implants can last a lifetime with proper care and good oral hygiene.
  • Minimally invasive as your adjacent healthy teeth are untouched, unlike conventional bridges.

We’ll place several dental implants in precise positions in your lower and upper jaw. These will be used to secure permanent bridges in place for teeth that look and feel like the real thing. Dental implants in Nottingham are designed to stand the test of time, you’ll be able to eat, bite and chew freely.

    your journey

    from consultation to aftercare

Our implant dentist will assess your suitability and advise on a suitable solution. You’ll have every opportunity to ask questions and we welcome this, to ensure you are completely comfortable with the procedure. Placing is performed quickly and is relatively pain free. A small hole is drilled into the jawbone and the implant is then fitted. A new artificial tooth will be fitted onto the implant. We’ll check the Dental implant to ensure it fits properly, is comfortable and matches your other teeth, and advise you on the best aftercare.

One of the best things I have done.

“I must say that I am very pleased with my implants. It took me a long time to make up my mind about having the procedure done. Chris took me all the way through the treatment. I had a denture for a good few years, but I was always having to clean my dentures. It has been one of the best things I have done.”

    frequently asked questions

full mouth restoration, Beeston Dental Practice & Implant Clinic

    1. What is a dental implant?

It’s an artificial tooth root made of biocompatible materials. Placed beneath the gum line and into the jawbone, it creates a secure place for replacement teeth or bridges to be positioned. Full mouth restoration involves the placement of several implants in both the upper and lower jaw. Full bridges are later secured to the implants.

    2. Can anyone have dental implants?

Most people of all ages with good general health are suitable for dental implants. There are very few health conditions that contraindicate dental implant treatment, but it should be noted that smoking and a history of gum disease have been shown to affect implant treatment success rates.

    3. How long does the treatment take?

From consultation to brand new smile, dental implant treatment takes around 3-6 months. It can vary from one person to the next – we’ll discuss this during your consultation.

    4. Does it hurt?

At Beeston Dental Practice, we’re committed to making all of your visits as comfortable and pain and stress-free as possible. We use local anaesthetic when placing the implant into your gum and jaw to ensure no discomfort. We also offer sedation for our more nervous patients.

    5. How long do dental implants last?

They can last a lifetime if you care for them properly. One of their great benefits is that you look after dental implants just as you would natural teeth.

    6. How do I care for dental implants?

Clean them using your toothbrush and interdental brushes twice a day – interdental brushes slide between the teeth and are ideal for cleaning tricky and hard-to-reach areas. Giving up smoking will help to protect your jawbone and it’s important to visit us regularly.
