Our friendly team at our dental practice in Nottingham is led by Mr Christopher Navarro, BDS MFGDP, who took over from his father Pablo as Principal Dentist in 2006. We’re proud of the broad range of developed skills we have here at Beeston Dental Practice based in Beeston, Nottingham, with each member of our team ready to help you achieve a happier, healthier smile.

Chris graduated from Bristol University in 2003. He then spent a year working as a Senior House Officer at Bristol Dental Hospital working in Oral surgery and Paedodontics (Children’s Dentistry).

Chris then moved to Beeston Dental Practice in 2005 to join his father Pablo, as an associate and just a year later, Chris took the reigns as Principal of the Practice in 2006. Since then, Chris has worked hard to develop a happy, fulfilled and empowered team with an ethos of putting patient’s best interests first.

Chris has always been a keen participant in Postgraduate education and achieved his diploma of Membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2008. In 2009, Chris was approved as a foundation dentist trainer and has been training dentists since that time. Chris has a keen interest in dental implants, CEREC restorations and clinical education. He is currently studying towards his Diploma in Implant Dentistry.

Chris is married with two sons and in his spare time enjoys coaching his son’s football team, playing his guitar and riding his road bike with his MAMIL (middle aged men in lycra) friends.

Nilesh graduated from Barts & The London Dental School in 2012, having first completed a degree with honours in Biomedical Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University in 2008.

Nilesh provides a wide variety of high quality dental treatments, including CEREC crowns, while maintaining a gentle and caring approach in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Nilesh aims to help patients understand their treatment and how best to prevent dental issues, and works with them to provide the best results possible for each individual.

He is a firm believer in developing his skills and experience through post graduate education.  In 2014 Nilesh completed the MFDS qualification to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.  In 2017 he completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Sedation at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL), which not only allows him to provide sedation for nervous patients, but provides further qualification and experience in this field.  In addition to this Nilesh has also been approved as a foundation dentist trainer, alongside Chris, the practice principle.

Nilesh is currently studying part time for a Masters degree in Endodontology (root canal treatments) at the University of Central Lancashire. Over three years, this course will give him the skills and knowledge to become a ‘Dentist with Special Interest’ in the area, with potential to become a registered specialist in the longer term.  This allows us to deal with the most complex cases and treat patients with the highest level of skill, using cutting edge techniques and technology.

Outside of work Nilesh loves to travel, has a passion for music, and is sports fan, regularly watching Derby County.

Vinay graduated with honours from Cardiff University in 2014. He completed his foundation training in Borrowash and subsequently went onto further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Kings Lynn. Vinay is committed to post graduate education having completed his MFDS qualification and is now a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

He has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry as is currently over halfway through a diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative and Endodontic Dentistry. His future plans include completing a Masters in Implantology. Vinay understands that children and nervous patients may be apprehensive and so he has a very patient, calming manner to make dental visits a fun and relaxing experience for young patients and their whole family.

Outside of dentistry, Vinay loves all kinds of sports as well as keeping fit himself. He also enjoys travelling and exploring new places around the world.

Sheena graduated from Cardiff University in 2014. She completed her foundation training and held an honorary Oral surgery contract at Guys St Thomas’ Hospital in London Bridge. She then proceeded to further her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Portsmouth for 2 years. During her time as a senior house officer she completed her MFDS qualification and holds a membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Sheena has maintained her skill set in Oral surgery but since being in primary care has developed an interest for cosmetic dentistry. She has completed an Advanced aesthetic restorative Dentistry Course which lasted a year.

Sheena sees a variety of patients and of all age groups but particularly enjoys working with children.

Outside of dentistry Sheena has taken up the hobby of photography having recently completed a diploma in foundation photography. She loves to travel and looks forward to combining the two hobbies in the future.

Louise qualified as a dental hygienist from the Royal Dental Hospital, London in 1984. She has a passion for preventive dentistry since being frightened of the dentist herself as a child and is sympathetic to patients who may have apprehensions themselves. Louise works together in partnership with her patients towards the ultimate goal of healthy teeth and gums.

Over her career, Louise has tutored at Birmingham Dental Hospital, been awarded UK Dental Hygienist of the Year, the Dental Care Professional category at the Premier Awards of the Medical Protection Society and the Braun/Oral B Prize to attend the International Symposium on Dental Hygiene in Sydney, Australia.

Louise advises to several dental companies giving professional opinion on the latest oral care products and technologies to prevent dental disease. She is an iTOP tutor (www.itop-dental.com) providing training to dental undergraduates throughout the UK.

Louise is also an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (www.bsdht.org.uk), British Society of Periodontology (www.bsperio.org.uk) and the Association of Dental Implantology (www.adi.org.uk). She attends regional, national and International conferences in her profession.

Joanne is our administration manager and head receptionist and joined the practice in September 2009. She is highly committed to good customer service.

Joanne has two grown up children and a dog who you will likely see her walking in her free time and she also loves anything equestrian.

Carly qualified as a dental nurse January 2014 and joined the practice in May 2015. She earned her Radiography Qualification shortly after.

Carly has the benefit of both a hands on role in the surgery dental nursing and she is also Beeston Dental Practice’s Marketing and Clinical manager where she keeps things running behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Carly loves spending time with her nephews and her cat Ella. She also enjoys eating out and exploring the Greek Islands.

Amy joined the practice in January 2016 and qualified as a dental nurse here at Beeston Dental Practice. She loves caring for our patients and making them feel relaxed in the dental environment.

Implant nursing is her passion and she loves seeing patients through their implant journey.

At the start of 2018, Amy became a Treatment Coordinator where she gets time to spend with patients to help them understand and choose their treatment options.

Amy loves organising and taking part in the annual Macmillan coffee Morning here at the practice.

Outside of work Amy loves spending her time with her husband and children, cooking and socialising with her friends.

Hannah joined the practice in 2008 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2010.

In 2012 Hannah gained her qualification Dental Radiography which enables her to take x-rays on referral from the dentist. Shortly after this Hannah took on the role of Head Nurse and continued furthering her education. In 2015 Hannah qualified in Oral Health Education which enables her to deliver oral health advice to patients and help with Kids Club.

Hannah recently took on the role of Operations and financial manager at the practice so is currently working more in the office than in the surgery nursing which has been a big change for her that she is embracing.

Outside of work Hannah enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends. She likes spending time with her family.

Chantelle joined the practice in August 2013 as a trainee dental nurse and has since qualified in 2015. She is always keen to widen her dental nursing skills for example; she is starting her radiography course in August 2018 and has gained experience working in an orthodontic practice in Derby.

Chantelle is now one of our treatment co-ordinators here at the practice. This means she has her own book of appointments with patients to discuss a wide variety of treatments outside of the dental surgery, such as implants, full treatment plans proposed by the dentist, whitening information and even queries about joining the practice!

Outside of work, Chantelle likes to travel and her favourite country so far is Thailand, she is currently trying (trying being the key word) to learn Thai . She is very family orientated and is always keen to meet new people.

Emily joined the practice in September 2015 as a trainee dental nurse and has since qualified in 2017. Emily enjoys all aspects of dentistry and caring for our patients. Emily has just enrolled on a Oral Health Education course as she is keen to develop her skills.

Outside of work, Emily loves to bake and often brings the team in some delicious treats. She also has a keen interest in arts, crafts, sewing and furniture restoration.

Rachael joined Beeston Dental Practice in 2017 as a trainee dental nurse and is currently working towards her National Diploma in Dental Nursing. Rachael works with both of our hygienists, as well as our dentists and enjoys all aspects of her job.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys watching ice hockey and is an avid Nottingham Panthers fan!

I work 2 days a week at Beeston Dental Practice and enjoy meeting the many patients visiting the practice, helping them to feel at ease. I’m also a Freelance Fine Art Photographer and tutor, passionate about photography – exhibiting widely and have been very fortunate to be able to exhibit work here at Beeston Dental Practice as part of the Open Studios ABC Art Trail. I absolutely love nature, walking, cycling, travelling and try to spend as much time as I can out in wild and wonderful spaces.

Aneesah Rabbaanee

Aneesah is the youngest member of our dental team. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2018 and joined our Practice in 2019. Aneesah mainly works with our Foundation Dentists and Hygienists. She enjoys all aspects of her job and would like to work towards becoming a Dental Hygienist.

Outside of work Aneesah loves playing goalball (a team sport developed for blind or visually impaired players) and is part of The Nottinghamshire Sheriffs Goalball Club. She also enjoys going to the cinema and spending time with her siblings.

Martyna Kudrycka

Martyna joined our practice in 2019 and is currently working towards her national diploma in dental nursing.  She is particularly interested in orthodontics and would like to go into orthodontic therapy in the future. Prior to becoming a dental nurse, Martyna completed a degree in biomedical science at Nottingham Trent University.

Outside of work, Martyna is a enjoys keeping fit and going to the cinema. She is also a keen traveller and enjoys exploring new places whenever she can.

Cleo Hazell

Cleo joined our practice in 2019 as an apprentice dental nurse and is working towards her Level 3 Diploma. She loves to work with families and nervous patients. Cleo hopes once she is qualified to work towards becoming a sedation nurse.

Cleo enjoys traveling and has visited many cities across Europe but hopes to venture further as visiting Japan is on her bucket list.

Antonia Kemp

Antonia started her career in dentistry in 2010 working as a Dental Nurse at Beeston Dental Practice. She then went on to pursue a career in dental hygiene graduating from London’s Eastman Dental Hospital in 2015. Alongside her Hygiene Diploma, Antonia also achieved the Carol Chiver’s Memorial Award for excellence in patient care and communication.

Antonia thoroughly enjoys working together with her patients towards achieving better oral health and maintaining healthy gums and teeth.

Outside of work she enjoys keeping fit with exercise classes and swimming, spending weekends in the countryside and quality time with family and friends.

Antonia is registered with the General Dental Council and a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, ensuring that she keeps up to date with all the latest developments within Dental Hygiene.
