Dental implants, Beeston
Rediscover your smile
At Beeston Dental, we believe everyone should be able to grin from ear to ear, laugh out loud and share a smile freely and frequently. Missing or loose teeth shouldn’t hold you back and the great news is that there’s a long-lasting solution to help you regain your smile and confidence.
Dental implants look and feel like real teeth. They consist of a man-made root placed in your gum and jaw to provide a secure base for artificial teeth in the form of crowns, bridges or dentures. You’ll be able to enjoy all the food you love (even crunchy and chewy stuff) and look younger and brighter while caring for your dental health.
We have a wealth of experience and expertise in transforming our clients’ smiles with dental implants. Book a consultation to find out what we could do for you.

Enjoy better dental health
Missing teeth can make you shy about your smile. But not only are they no good for your self-esteem, they can also put your dental health at risk. If you lose one tooth, you’re much more likely to lose others and this can lead to an ageing, sunken look.
Dental implants are made from materials that work well with the human body (biocompatible). The surfaces of these materials stimulate fusion with your own jawbone to maintain bone and minimise loss. That’s why they’ve been used by dentists for over 40 years as a trusted way to replace teeth.
They can last a lifetime if you take care of them properly. Yet you don’t need to remove them or use any specialist cleaners. Simply brush and clean as you would real teeth.

Your questions answered
What is a dental implant?
It’s an artificial tooth root made of biocompatible materials. Placed beneath the gum line and into the jawbone, it creates a secure place for replacement teeth or bridges to be positioned.
Can anyone have dental implants?
Most people of all ages with good general health are suitable for dental implants. There are very few health conditions that contraindicate dental implant treatment but it should be noted that smoking and a history of gum disease have been shown to affect implant treatment success rates.
How long does the treatment take?
From consultation to brand new smile, dental implant treatment usually takes around 3-6 months. It can vary from one person to the next – we’ll discuss this during your consultation.
Does it hurt?
At Beeston Dental, we’re committed to making all of your visits as comfortable and pain and stress-free as possible. We use local anaesthetic when placing the implant into your gum and jaw to ensure no discomfort. We also offer sedation for our more nervous patients. You can ask any questions and expect honest, straightforward answers and we’ll go through each step of the treatment in detail.
How long do dental implants last?
They can last a lifetime if you care for them properly. One of their great benefits is that you look after dental implants just as you would natural teeth.
How do I care for dental implants?
Clean them using your toothbrush and interdental brushes twice a day – interdental brushes slide between the teeth and are ideal for cleaning tricky and hard-to-reach areas. Giving up smoking will help to protect your jawbone and it’s important to visit us regularly.
